Carbon dioxide separation by cryogenic techniques

• The purity of methane is at commercial grade, with no CO₂ solidification;

• the presence of compounds heavier than CO₂ increases CO₂ solubility in the liquid phase and reduces column diameters;

• the process can be usefully applied when natural gas presents high CO₂ (H₂S) content;

• the CO₂ obtained as bottom product is liquid at high pressure, favorable conditions for EGR/EOR.
