Elvira Spatolisano was granted the Eni Award 2024 as Young Researcher of the Year for her PhD thesis entitled “Novel Technologies for H2S Valorization” supervised by Prof. Laura Annamaria Pellegrini.
The award ceremony took place at Quirinale, Roma, at the presence of the President of Italian Republic Sergio Mattarella, of the President of Eni Giuseppe Zafarana and of the CEO of Eni Claudio Descalzi.
This is the third time a GASP member has received this award, with the first in 2011 and the second in 2017.
