Federica Restelli is a PhD student at Dipartimento di Chimica, Materiali e Ingegneria Chimica “G. Natta” of Politecnico di Milano. She is member of the Group on Advanced Separation Processes & Gas Processing – “GASP”, with research interests focused on thermodynamics, process simulation and hydrogen value chain.
She took her M.Sc. degree in Energy Engineering cum laude at Politecnico di Milano in 2021. Her thesis was titled “Comparative analysis of conventional and novel low-temperature and hybrid technologies for carbon dioxide removal from natural gas with and without natural gas liquids” and focused on a comparison in terms of energy consumptions among different natural gas purification processes, giving indications about the best process selection according to the CO2 and natural gas liquids contents.
In 2021, she won a PhD scholarship funded by the MIUR (the Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research) at Politecnico di Milano, where she is currently attending her “Industrial Chemistry and Chemical Engineering” PhD programme.
